Health and Wellness Center (HAWC)
McChord Air Force Base, Washington
This project was for the modification of an existing gymnasium at McChord AFB to include comprehensive rehabilitation. The design was prepared to provide a facility to support physical training services. The services offered at this facility include: aerobics, metabolism training, weight control, adictive substance behavior training.
The facility was modernized to include a new HVAC system, lighting, communications, training rooms, and administrative offices. Existing locker and shower rooms were rehabilitated with floors removed and replaced with non-skid ceramic tile. Extensive landscape design, architectural, mechanical, and electrical repairs were accomplished to support the above work.
