Washington Engineering is a multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering services corporation located in Bremerton, Washington. We provide services to a variety of clients including port districts, cities, counties, educational facilities, commercial and military facilities.

Architecture: From space planning and schematic design, through design development and final design, our staff has the experience and skill to successfully complete your building design and renovation projects.

Engineering: Our staff has experience in the design of heavy pavements, railroads, storm and sanitary sewer systems, electrical and communication duct banks, roads and highways, reinforced concrete and structural steel design for buildings and foundations, HVAC and plumbing systems, hydronic piping, fueling systems, Energy Monitoring and Control Systems, power distribution and lighting systems, communications, security systems, and airport lighting.

Construction Support Washington Engineering performs complete construction support services for multidisciplinary projects, including submittal review, billing and change order approval, and on-site support.

THE PRINCIPALS

Mike Biggs, PE, is our principal in charge of engineering projects. He has over thirty years of design and project management experience on projects for governmental, educational and military clients. He is a registered professional engineer in the State of Washington. Mikes serves as the key interface between our clients and our design staff for projects ranging from planning through design and construction. He has extensive experience in the design of utility systems, industrial facilities, airports, railroads, military bases and marine facilities.

Lance Wadkins, AIA, is our principal in charge of architectural projects. With over twenty-five years of experience, he has completed design, alteration and repair projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. His experience includes design of medical, educational, commercial and military projects. Lance is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and the American Society of Value Engineers. He is licensed in six states, including Washington.
